Dive site information: A comparatively small dive site, consisting of a collection of coral pinnacles. Erg Abu Ramada is situated just offshore from Abu Ramada, and is mainly visited by scuba divers because of the dense coral growth and the abundance of reef fish species. A very good naturist dive.

Marine life: The pinnacles are covered in coral carpets, several layers thick. Soft, colourful corals dominate the seascape, accompanied by gorgonians and a diverse collection of stony coral species. The caves and cavelets are extra interesting and very beautiful since they are coloured by colonies of dendronephthia and other intensely tinted soft corals. The fish population is very dense, almost crowding around the pinnacles. Large quantities of colourful reef fish are blended with large pelagics, such as barracuda and jacks.
