Water temperature: The water temperatures at the Flasher Reef is subject to seasonal changes, and temperature therefore ranges from around 20° C (68°F) in February to about 27° C (81° F) in September.

Dive site information: Flasher Reef is found between the Sinafar and Shusha islands, and there is a sandy bottom surrounding the reef. The Flasher Reef derives its name from the abundance of Flashlight fish living here, so this is a superb night dive. Turn off your dive lights and you will instantly be surrounded by fish.

Marine life: The Flasher Reef is aptly named, since this dive site is packed with Flashlight fish. The sandy bottom is home to many seahorses, sea grasses, hermit crabs and stingrays. Spanish Dancer Nudibranches do their little dance around the reef. Nudibranch is a poisonous sea-slug with feathery and colourful gills and the type of Nudibranch called Spanish Dancer can be over 12 inches long. There is also colour changing squids around the Flasher Reef at night.
