Dive site information: Kilo 37 North is a sloping coastal reef with an intricate system of tunnels and caves. The dive starts with a canyon that begins close to the reef edge and drops abruptly down to 15 m / 50 ft. The canyon at Kilo 37 North will eventually give way to a sandy slop that runs well below 35 m / 115 ft. If you turn right after the mouth of the canyon, you will find a very steep and contoured part of the reef.

Marine life: A collection of nice coral heads are located in the sand directly after the mouth of the Kilo 37 North canyon, at approximately 30 m / 100 ft. The reef part located to the right of the canyon mouth is especially rich in stony corals, including Acropora in staghorn, table and branching formations. You can also dive among large patches of cabbage coral. The fauna at Kilo 37 North includes goatfish, snapper, giant groupers, surgeons, unicorns, fairy basslets, butterflies, angels and triggerfish. On the coral heads you can see the minute pipefish. Kilo 37 North is also regularly visited by whitetip reef shark and large schools of fusiliers.
