Dive site information: Shaab Sharm is a big reef in the shape of a kidney. Allegedly, it is the top of an old volcanic pinnacle. It has a sloping wall on the east and south sides. Most scuba divers prefer the area around the southern end of the Shaab Sharm reef, which have really good coral growth and an elaborate layout.

Marine life: Reef shelves and undercut sections are home to an excellent range of hard coral species. As mentioned above, the southern tip of the Shaab Sharm reef have the best coral growth. Black coral bushes can be found on the deeper sections of the wall. The animal life is diverse and includes huge groups of snappers and unicorns. Schools of barracuda live around Shaab Sharm. There are also a lot of giant groupers and really large yellowmargin and yellowmouth morays
